The latest jazz songs addition to my Hifi tracks playlist collection this week are from Danielle Eva and Hikari Aoki. Downloaded some editor’s pick tracks on HifiTrack for only HKD20 per song which is in FLAC HD Audio with 24bit/96Khz.

Downloaded 3 editor’s pick songs from HifiTrack including I Sing In Blue, Both Sides Now and He’s Gone Away (Willow Weep For Me) from Danielle Eva’s Road and Moon album and the other track by Hikari Aoki 悲哀的颜色 / Kanashii Iroyane.

Road And Moon Danielle Eva
Otokouta Hikari Aoki

I Sing In Blue is something soulful with Danielle’s sexy and clear vocal filling up the front staging and blends nicely with piano, guitar and upright bass, some kind of Jazz song that keep you relaxed all night long.

Both Sides Now is a type of love song in Jazz, with a smooth start of piano playing followed by drum kicks, guitar and Danielle strong vocal.

As for Hikari Aoki singing in Japanese, her track 悲哀的颜色 / Kanashii Iroyane (Sad Color) taken from her first Japanese album Otokouta, is well blended with her strong crystal clear vocal, notable guitar, saxophone, drums and the background piano. I personally listed Hikari Aoki as one of the best audiophile vocalist.

In 2016, she released a brand new Jazz album “Otokouta… Midnight in the Rain” featured 10 Japanese tracks and 1 English track. Just can’t wait to get it in FLAC format when available. If you want to listen more, check out the preview below
