Eterna Love 3000 – Cinema Film Recipe For Fujifilm Cameras
After countless hours of brainstorming and tweaking new film recipes, I discovered the Fujifilm Eterna 250D film stock. I recreated the Eterna Love 3000 film recipe using custom settings for Fujifilm film simulation. Although there is a similar Eterna-based film recipe called “Fusion Obscura,” I opted for a more natural white balance shift adjustment to avoid duplicating color tones. The Eterna Love 3000 film recipe is distinctly different.
If you are on the hunt for incredibly cinematic Eterna film recipes that boast vivid and striking colors, look no further than Eterna Love 3000! Exceptionally versatile, this film is perfect for daily use, leisurely point-and-shoot photo walks, and even capturing cinematic street photography that will leave your viewers in awe.
Fujifilm Eterna 250D is a motion picture film stock designed for professional cinematography. It is part of Fujifilm’s Eterna series, which is known for its fine grain structure, vibrant color reproduction, and excellent skin tone rendition. The “250D” designation refers to its sensitivity to light, with “D” standing for daylight balanced. Some of the movies that are shot with this film stock are Disaster Movie, Halloween II, The Golden Compass and many more.
About The Eterna Love 3000 Recipe
Eterna Love 3000! Since this is a cinema film recipe, it is inspired by a movie and I’m sure you’ll know which one. Created based on the Fujifilm Eterna/Cinema film simulation, this recipe is the perfect choice for daytime shoots with ample lighting or during golden hour. You may also be interested in learning some composition techniques and shooting cinematic street photography.
With just a few minor adjustments to the white balance, shift to the colder side between magenta and blue, characteristic of the Eterna 250D film stock. The Eterna Love 3000 film recipe is fine-tuned with this tone to create a beautiful color tone similar to that of the Fujifilm Eterna 250D sample photos.
I also tried to avoid using high Kelvin temperatures as they make the images look yellowish, which some YouTubers refer to as “yellow piss.” Sorry to use this word, but I agree. This word came to mind when I tried creating a recipe for Fujifilm cameras, especially the Kelvin temperature adjustment. However, after conducting further research and experimenting with different settings, I found that minimal white balance shift adjustments helped to enhance the colors in my images and create a more natural look to achieve the best results.
