This is the first analog watch I ever bought in my life for my 35th birthday gift and here I am going to do the MVMT watches review for the 40 Series Black model.

I’m replacing my current Casio Edifice, which was my birthday gift 7 years ago from my cousin sister. I have ordered the 40 Series Black model as my birthday gift for USD$125 (around RM550+) including custom duties fee USD$30 (estimate RM133) and the watch arrived in 4 business days delivered by DHL Express all the way from Philadelphia, USA.

Tracking code for the shipment is provided once the item shipped out and can be tracked 24/7 on courier websites. I received the watch in good condition without any defects, scratches or broken, well placed in box imprinted with MVMT logo.

The MVMT 40 Series is black color with 40mm diameter case size and it looks great with the black stainless steel band. Not too big at all and but I still need to shorten the band to fit my wrist.

The steel band come with 2 level locking way, so you don’t have to worry about dropping the watch when you unlock.

I was actually planning to get one of their best selling MVMT Gun Metal chrono watch but it is a 45mm diameter case that I thought it might be to big for me?

MVMT watches are known for its stylish, minimalist watch design and suitable to wear for any occasion either for work or casual day out.

I was just wondering what MVMT stand for until I found out it actually stands for movement. Well, thinking out of the box, and a little deeper, its all about time, time passes equals to movement, and it does make sense. So now I know what MVMT means.

MVMT Watch Black
I read about some MVMT watches reviews online that some owners said that the watch dies by itself but so far I haven’t come across this problem yet and hope I will not be the unlucky one. Touch wood and get my finger crossed.

They also have different types of color for the steel band and leather strap to choose from that cost about USD$35-45 each. One thing I like about MVMT is the steel band with 3-level adjustable clasp for different wrist size.

Adjustable Watch ClaspAs mention it is a minimalist design so there won’t be any extra features for the 40 Series Black unless you choose the Chrono and Voyager series.

Honestly, I’m not the type that always go for expensive stuff but for the first impression on MVMT watch, it doesn’t disappoint me at all and it don’t break my bank. I find it affordable for a watch under 1000 and if you’re looking for a nice quality watch as gift for yourself, family or love ones, MVMT is the one.

Just have to be careful not to wear it if you are engaging in daily heavy activities as you might easily get scratches on the watch body or steel band without realizing it.

So this end my MVMT watches review and I surely recommends this watch if you’re looking for men watches (also for woman) that look simple, nice with minimalist design. Best check MVMT website for more watches selection and happy shopping!
