This is the first time I took portrait shots using my newly bought Fujifilm XF 35mm F2 R prime lens on my little giant the Fujifilm X-T30. This is one of the best prime lenses I’ve ever shot with amazing results. There is no distortion with this lens compared to the 15-45mm kit lens. Find out more in the upcoming Fuji 35mm prime lens review.
The first thing that came into my mind is KLCC Park for an outdoor portrait photoshoot because the park matches my friend Anju (the funny girl) who is looking for some enchanted photoshoot theme. KLCC Park is the best place with nature for taking this kind of shot.
We took about one and a half hours to complete the session, from a full body, half body, and portrait photoshoot. The photos were taken with the 35mm prime lens and it was a fun day too!
Let me get straight to the point, share some of the photos taken on that day, and do very minimal editing to the photos below.. I’m actually building my photographer profile as a personal travel photographer in Malaysia for apartment rental business.
These images are taken with very consistent camera settings of ISO200 at F/2. This 35mm prime lens creates really nice bokeh on the background, making the model ‘pop‘ in the photos.
