I recently decided to attend a natural lighting photography class in KL hosted by Arif Kaser because I needed a better understanding of lighting photography. The Malaysian Photographers Community Facebook page informed me of the class. For beginners, there are many different types of photography classes available, such as outdoor lighting classes, natural lighting classes, indoor lighting classes, and many more.
I’d learned how to shoot outdoor portraits, fundamentals of natural and outdoor lighting by taking the class. What’s great about this photography class in Kuala Lumpur is that you’ll learn the theory basics, which will be well explained throughout the class, as well as practical tasks from shooting talents.
In the meantime, you’ll make new friends, learn new things, and share your experiences with other students. If you want to start photography as a hobby or build a career as a portrait photographer in Malaysia, this is the photography class for you. Outdoor Experience in Natural Lighting Class
Attending this outdoor lighting class was a fantastic learning experience. All you need is a mirrorless camera, a lens, and, if necessary, some camera equipment. Arif Kaser teaches me the fundamentals of natural lighting, including the shadow, background, and subject. Arif’s information is extremely detailed.
We get to walk around the city in the outdoor lighting class to find the best spots with good natural lighting for a photo shoot. We went to some of Kuala Lumpur’s tourist attractions, such as Merdeka Square, the River of Life, Central Market, and Kwai Chai Hong. It was a half-day class; it was enjoyable to participate, make new friends, and learn some new photography skills! You can create your own dreamy portraits and shooting styles by learning lighting techniques.
Learning Outdoor Lighting Using Off Camera Flash
At the end of the day, you will also learn photo editing by enhancing and enhancing the photos with Photoshop. Arif usually held his lighting class in Kuala Lumpur from 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and he would arrange for a meeting point for his students before beginning his photography class.
During breaks, Arif assists us in reviewing our shots and providing comments/opinions so that we can improve and fine-tune our lighting skills.
Come and join his class if you want to learn photography as a hobby or as a career as a wedding photographer or travel photographer in Malaysia.
