The current setting for minimal film grain would help to ensure that the images produced have a cleaner and more polished look. Interestingly, this particular film recipe was actually inspired by the Fujifilm Venus 400 film, which is based on the Classic Negative film simulation. However, upon receiving numerous requests from my readers all the time, I made the decision to create more Classic Chrome recipes that can be utilized by film recipe users out there. This way, I hope my readers can enjoy the benefits of utilizing this new recipe without any hassle. 🙂
If you happen to be using any of Fujifilm’s X Series cameras, including X-Trans III, X-Trans IV, or X-Trans V, and have chosen the Classic Chrome film simulation, then YOLO Vision will be fully compatible with your camera, right out of the box. This is because the YOLO Vision Film recipe has been specifically fine-tuned based on White Balance and White Balance Shift, which are both features available on these cameras.
Many Fujifilm users / photographers often wonder if they can use specific film recipes on specific cameras, and the answer is that there are no hard and fast rules that prohibit this practice!
