13 Best Netflix Thai TV Series 2023, Must Watch!

Netflix Best Thai TV Series 2021

We may become bored if we stay at home for an extended period of time during the endemic in 2023, so why not watch some of the best Netflix Thai series? If you’re unfamiliar with Thai movies, lakorn (soap operas), or TV shows, their way of story-telling is actually quite unique, interesting, mind-bending, and ‘addictive‘ too.

Here I’ve compiled a list of the best Netflix Thai TV Series to watch in 2023. If you love Thai series but haven’t started any on Netflix, you’ve come to the right page! I’m sure you will enjoy and spend the entire day binge-watching Thai TV shows in HD. I’ve seen the majority of the series or Thai movies listed below, so trust me when I say it’s worth your time.

You will be going to love it!

As this is going to be a long list, I tried not to write too much about the series in the list below because I didn’t want to give away too many spoilers. Ready to watch for some long-hour Thai dramas in Malaysia?

Other than Netflix, I can’t find any other platform able to stream Thai drama series on TV in Malaysia. There are many series found on iQiyi but it only allows streaming on PC, mobile and tablets. I don’t have any Android TV so I don’t know if the streaming apps would work on TV.

Hold on a second, there is good news for Thai drama lovers! I actually found the best way to stream some nice and latest Thai dramas online on Youtube which I shall reveal in another post. Stay tuned for this. Remember to subscribe or click on the bell on the lower-left corner to receive future notifications and updates from this blog.

But anyway, this post is about Thai TV series on Netflix. You can actually try to request some of the new 2021-2023 Thai TV dramas or movies not on Netflix such as Wanthong, Friend Zone, etc.

Netflix Malaysia seldom released any Thai series/movies due to streaming rights, cost, or regional availability according to the Netflix TV shows/movies Request page.

Popular Artists On Netflix Thai TV Series

In the list below, you will get to see many popular Thai celebrities, actors, and actresses on Netflix including Baifern Pimchanok (@baifernbah), Atsadaporn Siriwattanakul (@greenatsada), Ranee Campen (@bellacampen), Chicha Amatayakul (@kittychicha), Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying (@aokbab), Sean Jindachot (@seanjindachot), Mario Maurer, Nawat Kulrattanarak, just to name a few.

The list of 13 best Thai comedy, thriller, horror and drama series on Netflix compiled below is already far more entertaining. All we have to do is wait for more upcoming TV shows in the future, fingers crossed.

Girl From Nowhere Season 2

Do you remember the mysterious girl named Nanno and her psychotic laugh in the first season of Girl From Nowhere? Sit back and enjoy as she’s back with a more mind-blowing thrill in Season 2. Watch Nanno in Girl From Nowhere 2 on Netflix as she tried to bring justice, exposing wrongdoings, all in the 8 episodes of the new series. Another mysterious girl with a red ribbon is making her appearance in the second season, guess you have to watch and find out who she is.

If you’re new to Girl From Nowhere, you don’t have to worry about the native Thai language because there are English subtitles.

From murder crimes to love conflicts, the majority of the series is entertaining to watch, with each episode attempting to draw you deeper and deeper into the dark side of the story. I tried not to spoil the mood and will only provide some highlights for each of the series below.

Bedtime WishesOne of the best of all Sleepless Society Series I’ve watched so far, this series tells the story of a woman named Nara who stayed in a resort owned by her rich boyfriend’s Rain and later finds out there is something strange that actually happened in the past.

This mind-twisted dark ‘ what the heck just happened‘ and the mysterious storyline is worth watching and added to the Best Thai TV Series on Netflix list.

It had a consistent storyline that never interfered with the rest of the episodes, good cinematography that gave me a mysterious thrill, well-written dialogues, and, of course, a great performance by Krit Shahkrit Yamnam and Pinky Savika Chaiyadej who dived into their characters.

Nak (2023)

One of my top picks on Netflix right now is the 25-episode Thai horror comedy-drama ‘Nak’ also known as Nang Nak Saphai Phra Khanong, starring Atitaya Tribudarak, Jirayu La-ongmanee, Rudklao Amratisha. Mind 4Eve took the role of the lead character, Nak. Not only is Mind 4eve a talented actress, but she also contributes to the show’s soundtrack with her singing. The show is based on a beloved Thai folktale about a beautiful woman who falls in love with Phi Mak but faces significant challenges throughout her life. Sadly, Nak passes away during childbirth, and her spirit becomes a ghost that haunts the villagers, patiently waiting for her husband to return home from the Ayutthaya period’s war. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the series as it seamlessly blends humor with a love story, resulting in some truly laugh-out-loud moments.
